Project: Water

Returning to nature. That has been my theme since about 2019. When I think of my past, I was living quite unnaturally trying to fit in society. I was striving to achieve something. However, I’ve stopped that way of living and I’ve been more conscious of being natural. On that journey, it was a quite natural flow for me to be curious about water. On process of looking deeper to the core of myself, I began having a conversation with water. And many paintings have been born along the way.

自然に還る。これが2019年あたりから私のテーマになっている。思えば長いこと無理して不自然に生きていた。頑張って何かを成し遂げようとしていた。もうそんな生き方ではなく、ただ自然に在ることに意識を向けていった。そんな中で水に関心を持つようになったのは自然な流れだったような気がする。それから私の根源的な部分を見つめていく過程で、地球の生命の源である水と対話するような日々が始まった。そしていろんな絵が生まれていった。
